Handsome little Cubans

Don't you just love little boys in matching clothes and super cute fedoras? Well I do =) Chad's mom surprised us with photos of the boys she had done for Chad's fathers day gift. Love them!! They really turned out super cute! I may be a little bias but I think my kids are really photogenic. They both love having their pictures taken. (if caught in the right mood that is) The photographer, Chauntelle Graf, is a good friend of Chad's little brother, Todd. I think she did a great job! (Don't worry Jess, you are still my #1)

This last one is my favorite! Check out Spencer giving the stink eye and David's attitude =)

It's Been A While

It has been a very long time since I have done any updates here. So to make up for lost time, I am just going to post a couple pictures from the last month. ENJOY...

The Kite

The weather here has been freakishly fabulous! So the other day we took the boys to the park for pizza, a mean game of kickball and some kite flying. The boys got this awesome pirate ship kite for Christmas a year and a half ago, and this was the first time it has ever been air born. It has actually taken up residence in the garage, hanging from the ceiling. The boys were terrified that it was going to just take off like a balloon and we would never see it again, so it took some major reassurances before they actually relaxed and enjoyed flying the kite.

Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting

Last week the boys went to a karate class with some of David's friends from school. They loved every minute of it!! It was cute to see Spencer really trying to get it just right. David took to it very well and has now added karate to the list of things he would like to do. Spencer loved it because he felt like he was one of the big kids. He told me, "I did it because I am big now!". As good as it would be for them to be able to do this, we just don't have the time for it. Too bad, cause I am sure it would be a lot of fun for them. Maybe some other time =)

Little Grad...Again

Another year down, and yes, another graduation. =) This is our 3rd graduation in 3 years for David. They just keep getting cuter and cuter even though the kids keep getting bigger and bigger. This year David graduated from kindergarten. Although, they have to call it a "celebration", it really is a graduation. He has done so well with school and he loves it so much! He gets upset when he is sick and has to miss a day. (definitely gets that from his dad!) He would so much rather be at school with all of his friends. He is very excited for 1st grade and getting to be there all day. We are so proud of him and everything he accomplished this school year!

Well, here are some pics and videos of the "celebration". The videos are sideways*, I apologize. Maybe next time we can figure out what we are doing before hand. =)

*not responsible for any headaches or neck cramps received while watching these videos

This is a video of 2 songs they did. They are actually pretty funny to watch, especially the second one.

Next up, 1st grade!

This is video of his "celebration" speech.

Rockhounds

David just finished his second and last year of tball. He was on the Rockhounds and I had the lucky job of being team mom for him! It was a lot of fun being able share this experience with him. It is something I will definitely do again! He did AWESOME this year! After the first practice, the coach pulled us aside and recommended moving him up to rookies. We kept him in tball though so he could continue to learn the fundamentals of the game. He will definitely be ready to move up in the fall. At his team party he won the award for "Most Complete Player". He really loves sports and it shows in the dedication he puts in to excelling at each one he plays. (He and Chad spend numerous hours a week practicing) We are so proud of him and the great attitude he had during the season.

Spencer loved practicing with Chad and David all season. He can't wait till he is old enough to be on a team of his own and neither can we!!
