Children's Discovery Hike

Recently we went with my brother and his family up to Red Rock, to take the kids on a hike. They have the perfect little hike for kids! It isn't quite a mile, so even Spencer was able to do it without much help. You hike back into a little canyon where there is a small waterfall. Although, this time of year it was a more of a water-mist. It was still pretty though, and the kids had so much fun! David was a little disappointed when we were hiking back to the car. He didn't understand why the hike wasn't longer. So maybe next time, we will have to spend more time up there. Which is okay with me, I love the mountains!

This was taken behind the waterfall, so you kind of get an idea how small it was. =)

Spencer was trying to point to us where the "Bat Cave" was on the mountain. He is really into Batman right now, for those of you who don't know.

Cheeburger Cheeburger

A couple weeks ago, my mom, the boys and I went to visit one of my oldest, bestest, friends in the world, Julia, at her work. For those of you who don't know what Cheeburger Cheeburger is, it is a diner type restaurant with build it yourself burgers, salads, and lots of other yummy diner food! The kids had a lot of fun with the cool little convertibles that their food came in, and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the oldies music. If you haven't been there yet, I highly recommend it. They also have super yummy shakes, which in my opinion is reason enough to try it!
