7

David is 7! March 4, David started his week+ long celebration of his 7th birthday. He woke up on his birthday to a "surprise" of a decorated house and donuts. (all his idea) =) He then went to school where they sang to him twice and Chad and I brought in cupcakes. After school, we took him to King Putt. (bowling was the first idea, but league night ruined that) The boys LOVED King Putt, which was good because the rest of us that grew up with Scandia were sadly disappointed. After dinner we went to Creations for dinner, then came home and sang happy birthday with his baseball cake.

The next weekend, we had his party. Unfortunately Mother Nature was NOT on our side. The first hour of the party was beautiful...then the wind came. So we rushed through the pinata, cake and presents so we could clean up and go home. Luckily the children of the party were unscathed by the wind and all said they had a lot of fun. Which I guess is all that really matters. =)

Anyway, I can hardly believe my oldest is 7. David is the smartest child I know. He constantly amazes us with his intelligence and sense of humor. He is such a sweet, compassionate boy who loves to please everyone. He is great at sports, loves to have fun constantly, and is everyones best friend. We are so proud of him and the boy he is. He is such a constant joy in our lives. We love you, David Joseph!

My awesome cousin made the cake for us. Anyone who needs a cake, click HERE

Uncle Jason gave David the stack of bills from the Geico commercial. He loves it, obviously!

(This is by no means an advertisement for Geico, we are a FARMERS family, LOL)

Happy Birthday Big D!!

Awwww, looks like he had an awesome birthday! I'm going to have to start planning now for Jared's. Truth be known, he'd probably love the decorated house and donuts. I might have to borrow that idea!
